From land reform to providing govt jobs for adivasis, NDA's vision document for Kerala promises much

Inaugurating the ceremony, Arun Jaitley said that the coming elections were going to be a strong tri-polar election

NDA’s Vision Document 2016 states that it will ensure that land is given to the landless within two years and that 10th passed adivasi men are given government jobs, besides a host of other ambitious measures.

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Saturday officially released the document at an event held in Thiruvananthapuram.

Besides land reform, starting around 1000 milk abundant villages and startups, and restricting the consumption of alcohol were some of the other proposed measures. It also guaranteed that fresh licenses would not be given for new bars in the state.

A housing scheme is also on the anvil in the name of Sri Narayana Guru.

NDA is contesting the assembly polls in Kerala as an alliance of 10 parties including BGDS. This is the first time that BJP is contesting in the Kerala elections as a member of an alliance.

Inaugurating the ceremony, Arun Jaitley said that the coming elections were going to be a strong tri-polar election. Pointing at the strong performance showed by BJP in the local body elections, Jaitley said that it would be repeated in the coming assembly elections as well.
