The News Minute | October 8, 2014 | 02:20 pm IST The Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee has decided to ask its senior leadership, the AICC, to take appropriate action against Shashi Tharoor after he praised Prime Minister Modi for his 'Swachh Bharat' clean campaign. The KPCC which has recommended disciplinary action against the leader hurriedly held a meeting on Wednesday to decide on the due course of action after Tharoor compliemnted Modi for his Swachh Bharat initiative, accordint to The Times of India. "Tharoor has hurt the sentiments of the party workers and it should have been avoided. The KPCC will submit a report to the AICC leadership which will detail about the popular sentiments of the party workers in the state on this issue. This should not be repeated again," said KPCC president, V M Sudheeran to TV channels after the meeting.  Others who attended the meeting include Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala .
