Kolaveri actor Dhanush is feeling the love, his Twitter account hits three million followers

Actor Dhanush's Twitter account, which went live in 2010, has now passed the three million followers mark. Dhanush is now only the second actor to have reached this milestone in Kollywood.

Dhanush took to the micro-blogging platform to express his excitement at getting 3 million followers, tweeting, “3M it is... Thank you so much for all the unconditional love, support and trends. Love you all. #spreadlove”

The Kolaveri actor has been very active on Twitter, with not only regular information about his films and other projects, but also many tweets connecting with his fans on a more familiar and consistent basis.

Since his debut in Ranjhanaa, followed by his appearance in the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer, “Shamitabh”, under the direction of Balki Dhanush, Dhanush has acquired a wider following outside Kollywood as well.

On the work front, Dhanush will next be seen in the romantic and political thriller “Kodi”, directed by Durai Senthilkumar which is slated for an August release. He is also currently busy wrapping up Gautham Menon's “Yennai Nokki Payum Thotta” and with his highly anticipated gangster drama trilogy, “Vada Chennai”, which went on the floors recently.
