A day after his resignation from his position as Kerala’s Finance Minister KM Mani, the Kerala Congress (M) supremo, maintained in a press conference that there was a  political conspiracy against him, and also expressed his displeasure at the media.

“I have given the clues many times to you (media) that there was a clear conspiracy against me. But I did not find any investigative drive in you,” says Mani while adding that he did not get justice from anywhere.

He also told media that the whole issue was part of a political conspiracy to bring him down.

“I don’t reveal names of people who conspired against me, because I keep my decency.  There are people who thirst for my blood,” he says.

Mani stood firm on his stand that the High Court order was not against him and there are only very few mentions about him in the order.

“I resigned just because I respect judiciary,” he said.

He also said with confidence that he will contest against from Pala constituency till he is physically weak.
