The News Minute | July 15, 2014 | 12:40 PM IST It is July, yet the fate of Plus One students in Kerala hangs in the balance. Education Minister P.K. Abdu Rabb informed the state assembly on Tuesday that the uncertainty over Plus One admissions and distribution of text books will be addressed and solved as soon as possible. The Left questioned the United Democratic Front government during the zero hour about the matter. It accused the government of supporting private management colleges. Rabb informed the Assembly that the government is planning to increase the number of Plus One seats in schools. The uncertainty that looms over the course will be solved before July 31, Rabb said. Chief Minister Oommen Chandy meanwhile, opined that delay in publishing the final exam results was the reason why the procedures are getting delayed.  He said to the assembly that Class 12 text books have been distributed to about 88 per cent of students and that the rest will be completed soon. IANS
