In yet another serious allegation against Kerala CPI(M) by BJP state leadership, the party has said that the community party has secured wealth amounting to Rs 25,000 crore through illegal means.

“The party's assets in the capital city alone amount to Rs 2,000 crore,” BJP state president V Muraleedharan said as per The Times of India report.

He criticized the left party heavily and said that party should clarify publicly about its assets.

“We have evidence to prove the wealth possessed by the CPM in the state. The CPM holds the title of wealthiest political party in the state. The assets were gained by the party during its regimes in the state,” said Muraleedharan as per the TOI report.

“The CPM and the UDF government are two sides of the same coin when it comes to scams and corruption. In the past, both the UDF and LDF were influenced by the real estate mafia. So, CPM has no right to attack the UDF on the corruption issue,” he further added.

He also blamed that a party who claims to be the party of labourers and marginalized acts ironically by holding so many assets.
