The  News Minute | June 19, 2014 | 10:58 AM IST The state legislators from the opposition and ruling party urged the government on Wednesday to take over the administration of the Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple. They said that there is a need to enact a law to takeover the control of the temple. But Chief Minister Oommen Chandy was of the opinion that the government would prefer to built a a museum inside the temple if the Supreme Court allows. It will present its opinion to the SC when the case comes for hearing on  August 9. But the members were against the Supreme Court appointed committee governing the temple and wanted the government to take over control. Earlier Oommen Chandy had told the media that the allegation that the government and the royal family is conspiring to siphon off the temple treasure, is false
