The News Minute | November 18, 2014 | 1:45 pm ISTHyderabad may soon play host to the world’s tallest building with Telangana chief minister, K.Chandrasekhar Rao directing officials to identify land for this humongous project.Reports indicate that the tower is going to be constructed in Sanjeeviah Park but without disturbing the 92 acre park which is under the control of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA)This news comes days after KCR announced his grand plans of surrounding the Hussainsagar lake which is a landmark of the city with skyscrapers.A report in the Times of India said government officials will soon prepare detailed proposals for the towers and the mode of construction. However the government has not announced anything about the height of the proposed buildingThe tallest building at present is the Burj Khalifa in Dubai (shown in picture) which is 830 m tall and has 163 floors.
