A man from Vijayapura district has been arrested for morphing a photo of a dog urinating into Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah’s mouth.
The accused, identified as Amaresh Vaali is reportedly a doctor in Muddebihal taluk. The man has been booked for promoting feelings of disharmony and enmity.
Viajayapura’s Kuruba Sanghatan had filed a complaint saying this was demeaning Siddaramaiah, who belongs to the Kuruba Gowda community. The picture was apparently shared widely on social media over the last few weeks.
In the image that is available with The News Minute, a picture of Siddaramaiah asleep in the Assembly appears to have been morphed with a picture of a urinating dog.
This is not the first time a man from Karnataka has been arrested for posting offensive pictures. However incidentally all these men seem to be from north Karnataka region.
