The News Minute | March 29, 2015 | 1:50 pm ISTIn case you had been living under a rock, the BBC has let go of popular "Top Gear" host Jeremy Clarkson after he attacked one of the producers of the show. The director-general of the BBC, Tony Hall, announcing that Clarkson’s contract would not be renewed said:I cannot condone what has happened on this occasion. A member of staff – who is a completely innocent party – took himself to Accident and Emergency after a physical altercation accompanied by sustained and prolonged verbal abuse of an extreme nature. For me a line has been crossed. There cannot be one rule for one and one rule for another dictated by either rank, or public relations and commercial considerations. Many have taken to Twitter to decry the BBC for its actions in sacking Clarkson with many tweets even threatening violence against Oisin Tymon, the man who Clarkson was found to have assaulted.A YouTube user named Jon Harvey uploaded a video titled "The Last Ever Top Gear" which has gone viral with over 1.2 million views. The user assembled a slew of older clips together, which makes it look like Clarkson is explaining the entire story of his last episode of Top Gear. TweetFollow @thenewsminute
