The state, which is facing serious power problems, is currently running a celebrity-endorsed campaign which is aiming to make Bihar a state run entirely from clean energy.

#SolarBihar is part of an NGO The Solar Village Project, who are actively assisting Indian and African families and individuals improve their lives through access, acquisition, maintenance and knowledge of solar power systems in homes with no other power source, read their official website.

Bollywood celebrities like Manoj Bajpayee, Sanjay Mishra, Vinay Pathak, Swara Bhaskar, Meiyang Chang and Neetu Chandra have come out in support of the campaign.
