The News Minute | February 11, 2015 | 1.09 pm ISTThe Karnataka High Court on Tuesday urged the police to buck up on its investigation of cases of missing women and children and penalize personnel who were found to have been negligent.Hearing a public interest litigation filed by the State Legal Services Authority, the court told the police to ensure that all efforts were made to trace missing persons in the state. The court also said that the police should create a database to which all missing persons information could be accessed. The court also suggested that there be mechanism for people also to upload photos and information of missing children.Tweet
