Anupama Shenoy, who recently resigned as Deputy Superintendent of Police Kudligi, Ballari district, returned to  the town on Thursday morning after being untraceable for over 5 days.

Addressing the press on Thursday, Shenoy claimed that she has an audio recording of Labour Minister Parameshwara Naik threatening her.

She claimed that she has the video of state minister's alleged love affair.

She added that she would not withdraw her resignation until the minister quits.

"I have the audio of him threatening me and I have the video of his love affair. I will release the audio and video at an appropriate time and I will not resign until he quits," said Anupama Shenoy adding that she would deal with the corrupt elements legally.

Shenoy’s resignation on June 4 and the Facebook posts on her profile have caused a major political stir over the last few days.

However, she denied having a Facebook account and said that the statuses were not posted by her. She also clarified that she resigned over personal issues and not because of political pressure.

"People are using my resignation for their personal benefit," Anupama said.

She reached the Kudligi police quarters on early Thursday morning along with her brother Achyuth Shenoy.

Sources said that she has not spoken to the SP or any other official and has kept herself locked inside her house in the quarters.

She said she would be leaving for Bhatkal in the evening and would not be meeting any police officials.

The 2010-batch officer was in the news in January when she had been  transferred for  putting a call from Ballari district in-charge and labour minister PT Parameshwar Naik on hold. She was, however, reinstated following a public outcry.
