It has already been confirmed that Suriya, upon wrapping up NGK with Selvaraghavan, will join hands with KV Anand for an untitled project. The film will be bankrolled by Lyca Productions. According to the industry grapevine, Harris Jayaraj is likely to come on board as composer for this project, which will probably start to roll from July.

Earlier, rumours made the rounds that Hip Hop Tamizha had been signed as composer but Anand had rubbished the reports as baseless.

Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad while promoting Gang in January, the Telugu dubbed version of Thaana Serntha Kootam, Suriya said, “After my film with Selvaraghavan, I’ll work with KV Anand. The film will most likely go on the floors from July.”

Anand and Suriya have previously worked together in Ayan and Maattraan. Without divulging much information about the project, Suriya said he’s kicked about joining hands with Anand, whose last directorial was Kavan.

During the interaction, Suriya also confirmed that he is in discussion with director Hari and Vikram Kumar for future collaborations. With Hari, Suriya has delivered the highly popular Singam franchise. He has done the the science-fiction action flick 24 with Vikram Kumar.

Asked if he’d do another Singam film with Hari, he said: “This won’t be another Singam project. I usually team up with Hari sir once in a couple or three years. I work with him on projects that help me expand my market. I still remember the time when we didn’t have the budget to do 7 am Arivu as nobody was willing to bet on the film. A couple of months later Singam first part released and turned out to be a blockbuster. The success of Singam earned me the license to do 7 am Arivu. I need to do a film like Singam once in a while to experiment with projects such as 24.”

Meanwhile, the actor is currently busy with his first collaboration with filmmaker Selvaraghavan which has been titled NGK. The abbreviation is rumoured to be 'Nanda Gopalan Kumaran'. The film, which was officially launched last month, also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Pallavi as the leading ladies. Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, the project is gearing up for a Deepavali release. The team has already wrapped up the first schedule of shooting. Recently, the makers recreated a set of the town of Ambasamudram on a lavish budget of over Rs. 3 crore.
