The shooting of the talkie portions of Ganesh starrer Geetha was wrapped up some days ago and is currently in the post-production stage. Reports are that the filmmakers are planning to begin the dubbing process by the first week of June. Two more songs are expected to be shot in July.

The film is directed by debutant Vijay Nagendra, who was an associate of director Santhosh Anandram. It has three heroines in the cast and they are Prayaga Martin, Parvathy Arun and Shanvi Srivastava. The film is jointly bankrolled by Golden Films and producer Syed Salam. The technical crew of this film includes V Harikrishna for music and Sreesha Kuduvalli for cinematography.

Besides Geetha, Ganesh also has Gimmick in his kitty. A scene from this film was unveiled on the official page of Anand Audio and a song was also released as part of the promotions. Touted to be a horror comedy, Gimmick is directed by Naganna. A major portion of the film has been shot at a house in Sri Lanka with some portions in Mysuru and Bengaluru. It may be noted here that Gimmick is Ganesh’s first attempt in trying a horror comedy and his fans are waiting eagerly to know the outcome.

Gimmick is bankrolled by Deepak Sami under his banner Sami Pictures. It will mark Ronica Singh’s debut in the Kannada film industry. Actors Ravi Shankar Gowda, Sadhu Kokila, Shobhraj and Sunderaj play supporting roles in the film.

The technical crew comprises Arjun Janya for scoring music and Ravi Varma for choreographing the stunts. The film’s shooting has been wrapped up and the post-production is happening in full swing. According to reports, Gimmick will hit the marquee in June and the date of release is currently being worked out by its makers.
