The “acchhe din” dialogues by him were untrue and people are lamenting over the decision to elect BJP to power, he added. He further said that the government had deceived the people in the name of sincerity and committments. The former President of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee also said that the government was making an attempt to “safeguard its tainted ministers and members”. Referring to party members members like Vasundhara Raje, Sushma Swaraj, Smriti Irani, Pankaja Munde, he said that they were in the “top rank in terms of corruption and supporting the wrong deeds”. All those who are involved in the Lalit Modi case and found guilty of supporting “anti-national elements and activities” must be punished under law of the land, irrespective of their allegiance to any party, he added.
