Former Karnataka labour minister C Gurunath allegedly committed suicide by jumping off a hospital building in Bengaluru on Thursday afternoon.
Gurunath had been undergoing treatment Sagar Apollo hospital in Tilak Nagar for over two months and was supposed to be discharged on Thursday. It is unclear why he jumped off from the second floor of the building.
He was the labour minister in HD Deve Gowda government in 1994.
