With routine reporting having yielded little result, the newspaper – no longer a tabloid as of Friday – decided to make the BBMP the butt of its jokes. Editor of Bangalore Mirror B Mahesh told The News Minute that civic authorities had not taken serious notice of consistent reporting on civic issues especially the perennially bad condition of the roads in the city. This prompted the newspaper to launch a campaign that would look at the issue differently.  The result? These images:
