The first look of Prabhas’ film Saaho is here, and it’s understandably creating ripples on social media. Prabhas, who was last seen in the mega-blockbuster Baahubali, didn’t take up any other projects for the time that he was shooting the film. Saaho is said to be an action-thriller.
The poster shows a suave Prabhas, wearing a black trench coat, and whose face is partially covered in a scarf, walking through a haze, with the city behind him. The muted colours make us wonder what the tone and setting of the film will be.
The poster was released on the star’s 38th birthday. The film, which is being shot in both Telugu and Hindi, is being written and directed by Sujeeth. Sujeeth is famous for his debut Run Raja Run in 2014, which he made when he was 24.
The film also stars Neil Nitin Mukesh and Shraddha Kapoor.
Saaho is produced by Prabhas’s brother Pramod Uppalapati and Vamsi Krishna Reddy under the banner UV Creations. Music director trio Shankar – Ehsaan – Loy will be composing the music for this film. With Prabhas playing the lead role, the film will have the Bollywood star Neil Nitin Mukesh as the villain.

The teaser of the film was released in April. It is scheduled to release in May 2018.
