Actor Karthi has tweeted the first look of his upcoming Tamil film “Kaashmora”, whipping up fan frenzy.

“Kaashmora”, written and directed by Gokul, is supposed to be a supernatural horror film with elements of comedy. The first look suggests that parts of the film will be set in another era.
The poster shows Karthi in a never before seen avatar - bearded and bald! And that's just one of his looks in the film.
For the first time, the immensely popular Nayanthara will co-star with Karthi. According to the grapevine, Nayanthara will be playing the role of a princess. Sridivya is the other female lead.
“Kaashmora” has also created a buzz for being the first South Indian movie to use the 3D Face Scan technology which was used in Shah Rukh Khan’s “Fan”.
Santosh Narayanan who set Tamil Nadu ablaze with his music in “Kabali” is the music composer.
Karthi’s last release was the Tamil-Telugu “Oopiri” (“Thozha”) which did well at the box-office.
Though he has always been appreciated for his natural acting – in “Paruthiveeran” especially – the actor suffered a career slump and gave a series of flops till he bounced back with Pa.Ranjith’s “Madras”.
“Kaashmora” is expected to release in Tamil and Telugu on Diwali day.
