Popular choreographer Farah Khan is set to make her Tamil cinematic debut with upcoming horror film “Devi(L)”, featuring Prabhudeva, Sonu Sood and Tamannaah Bhatia. Farah will be playing herself in the film, and director AL Vijay feels her presence has strengthened the film, which has been co-written by Hollywood writer Paul Aaron.

According to director Vijay, the film is packed with plenty of surprises thanks to Paul Aaron’s role in scripting, the pairing of Prabhudeva and Tamannaah, and to Farah Khan’s guest appearance. “This particular scene demanded a choreographer and who else other than Farah could be perfect for the role. I’m wholly indebted to my producer for giving me the freedom, and moral and economical support to have talents from across the country,” Vijay told TNM.

Made simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, the film is set for release later in the year. The film also features Amy Jackson in a guest appearance.
