Fahadh Faasil fans are in for some good news! The makers of Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum have announced that the film will be out at the theatres on June 30th. And it is all set to get a solo release with Tiyaan postponed by a week. Tiyaan will now hit the marquee on July 7th, we hear.
Directed by Dileesh Pothan, the film also has Suraj Venjaramoodu in a pivotal role. Others in the star cast of this comedy flick are Soubin Shahir, Alencier Ley Lopez, Nimisha Sajayan, Jithin K C and Shince Mathew. Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum has been penned by Sajeev Pazhoor.
Produced under the banner Urvasi Theatres by Sandip Senan and Anish M Thomas, Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum was initially slated for release on June 29th but the release was put off by a day. According to sources close to the film unit, the run time of the film would be 1 hour 6 minutes during the first half and 1 hour and 9 minutes post interval.
Bijibal has composed music for this venture with Rajeev Ravi cranking the camera and Kiran Das editing it.
What makes the release of this Fahadh Faasil film interesting is that there are a few Malayalam films such as Avarude Raavukal, Oru Cinemakkaran, Viswasapoovam Mansoor and Role Models that were released on the occasion of Eid last week and are still ruling the box office. Role Models also had Fahadh playing the lead role. With Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum joining the race now, the battle at the box office is just about to get severe!
It may be mentioned here that the star has four more films lined up for release this year including Aannengilum Alenkilum and Carbon in his kitty.
