The News Minute | October 1, 2014 | 12:08 pm ISTA Kerala school where a UKG student was allegedly confined in a cage with a dog inside it, has been closed down under Directorate of Public Instruction orders. The UKG student punished for talking to other students during class hours was allegedly locked iup in the kennel, said The New Indian Express. The Deputy Director of Education(DDE) also gave in a report saying that the school lacked necessary infrastructure facilities. The report also pointed out that many schools were functioning without proper recognition in the state, said the report.
