Online home furnishing marketplace Pepperfry.com has launched a new range of king-sized beds that are edible. Yes you read that right. Under the brand Sweet Dreams Bed, Pepperfy has launched 101 variants of edible beds.
The bed weighs over 80 kilograms and is entirely made out of Belgian chocolate, which is further inlaid with candy.
The idea, the company said in a statement, is to encourage midnight snacking and can save you an estimated of 10 years’ worth of trips to the refrigerator! Pepperfry claims that the design took 3 years to perfect.
The company is also offering additional offers for the first 500 customers. The beds will come bundled with a mattress made of cotton candy. There is also matching pillows, throw and an extra-large bean bag.
Speaking on the launch of the new edible range, Hussaine Kesury, VP and Head, Furniture Business, Pepperfry.com says, “The Sweet Dreams Bed is truly a remarkable engineering achievement and the result of years of hard work and innovation, driven by this obsessive attention to every detail.”
Reach under the bed and discover treats like lollipops and licorice as well, he adds.
