Malayalam movie "Chandrettan Evideya" has temporarily been taken off from theatres after a women filed a petition stating that she had been getting abusive calls because she shares the same phone number in real life as one of the stars in the film does on-screen.Manorama News reports that the woman’s petition is still under the consideration of the Thiruvananthapuram Munsif court and meanwhile the producers of the movie informed the court that it has been taken off from the theatres.On June 2 this year, the 39-year-old woman, a professional trainer at a driving school in the capital district, complained that ever since the film was released in May she had been getting non-stop calls, sometimes in the middle of the night, which were loaded with lewd comments.Exasperated, the woman registered a police complaint and also filed a court case against the director and the three producers of the film.The film, directed by Sidharth Bharathan, son of legendary Malayalam director late Bharathan, stars popular actors Dileep, and Anusree among others.  The woman has the same phone number as Namitha Pramod is shown to have in the film.
