The second teaser of Vikram- Gautham Menon’s first collaboration Dhruva Natchathiram, which was released ahead of Vikram's birthday, has been received very well. From being called the most stylish teaser in recent times, fans hailed what they saw and have expressed anticipation over the film’s release in August.
The crew recently wrapped up the Chennai and Coonoor schedule and is currently on a break and they plan to head to the US next.
Tipped to be a spy thriller on the lines of the Bourne franchise, this film will feature Vikram in the role of a secret agent, sporting a salt-and-pepper look which has already been received well in the teaser. With most of the project scheduled to be shot in the US, particularly in places such as Los Angeles, New York and Manhattan, the makers have begun shooting initial portions in India.
Jointly produced by Gautham and Escape Artists Madan, the film also stars Ritu Varma and Aishwarya Rajesh. Actor-filmmaker Parthiepan has been confirmed to play a pivotal role and the music is by Harris Jayaraj.
