Dhanush’s ENPT gearing up for release on June 23

If everything goes as planned, Gautham Menon’s campus thriller Enai Noki Paayum Thota, which stars Dhanush and newbie Megha Akash in the lead, is aiming for Ramzan weekend release on June 23. Even though the film’s shoot is yet to be completed, the makers have already locked a release date as they feel they can’t find a better slot. However, nearly two weeks of shooting is still left and Dhanush has been busy with his other projects.

One of the reasons why Dhanush hasn’t completed shooting for ENPT is that the film’s producer P. Madan, who had also bankrolled the actor’s Kodi, hasn’t cleared his remuneration yet. Dhanush has given the makers an ultimatum that he’d only complete shooting the remaining of the portion once all the dues are cleared. Hence, he stopped shooting for the project when it was on the verge of completion and moved on to his other projects such as Power Paandi and VIP 2.

Meanwhile, we have learnt from sources that Dhanush is expected to resume shoot for ENPT from April, as he’s relieved of all his current projects. Gautham, who was working on Dhruva Natchathiram, is currently prepping for the final schedule of his project with Dhanush.
