Have you ever seen Mickey Mouse drive an auto?
You will soon. The adorable, globally-loved cartoon character is set to invade India and our homes with a desi twist to the comic show.
Disney India released a short video of the cartoon showing Mickey zooming past the streets of India in a auto, yes an auto.
As he races through crowded streets, gets blocked by cows squatting in the middle of the street, this version of the well-loved show goes completely Bollywood with Mickey putting up a small dance-song number for entertainment.
One thing Indians are well-known for is their exceedingly high tolerance for spicy cuisine. Mickey come up with an alternate plan when his auto runs out of petrol and makes it run on spicy food, literally.
Stereotypically depicted, the funny video shows Mickey, the auto driver, going in the opposite direction of where he is supposed to be taking his passenger, something not quite uncommon in this part of the world.
