Jayarajan called the Kerala Chief Minister a 'despicable scum' while addressing his party men in Udma Kasargod on Tuesday. 'There have been no other Chief Ministers in Kerala who are as much a despicable scum as Oommen Chandy.' He even said that the former CM Karunakaran though was a betrayer, was far better than Oommen Chandy.However, Jayarajan apologised for this on Wednesday. “I didn’t mean to target the Chief Minister individually. I was mentioning the flaws of his governance. I regret if he has felt the other way,” he said reported Madhyamam. M V Jayarajan has been in trouble before for his speeches and was sentenced to six months imprisonment in November 2011 for calling a High Court judge an idiot.
