CleanseCar is an app based daily car and bike cleaning service currently operating out of Bengaluru and Chennai and looking to expand further. The startup has received fresh funding from Venture Catalysts to the extent of Rs3.5 crore and the angels and investors who have participated in this funding are Omphalos Venture India LLP, Rishabh Mahimtura, Anil Patel, Vishal Brambhatt and a few more.

Daily car washing service at the owners’ places is estimated to be worth $3 billion in the country but it is a largely unorganized trade and CleanseCar could be the first-ever attempt to change the game and make it into an organized one. If their plans fructify, thousands of car owners may be happy that their cars are being maintained well. They are trying to position their car cleaning service as affordable and reliable.

Customers need to download the CleanseCar app and fill in the details and log in to the service. There are several packages being offered for daily car wash at pocket-friendly rates ranging from Rs 499 to Rs 749. The rates vary for hatchbacks, sedans and SUVs and these are monthly rates. Customers can choose waterless wash which makes the daily cleansing of one’s car an eco-friendly process. There are options to pick combo packages of multiple cars and bikes if a joint or a large family were to avail the cleaning services.

Kalyandhar and Pratibha Shalini are the promoters of this startup with an IT industry background, before they turned entrepreneurs. Venture Catalysts see a lot of potential in the daily car cleaning service space and that CleanseCar is trying to bring in a disruption in the service by making in an organized and professional service gives it an edge. They are pleased to have picked out the startup to invest in.

CleanseCar’s promoters are also equally happy with the funding since it gives them the opportunity to keep adding to the tally of vehicles they maintain through washing and other applications. Starting with just 200 cars, they have reached 2000+ now and feel this round of funding will help them take this to 20,000 next. They could add more cities in the immediate future and more automotive care solutions such as interior vacuum cleaning, dashboard and console cleaning and shine, interior detailing and rim dressing.
