A veteran in the industry, cinematographer Ravi K Chandran is making his Telugu debut with superstar Mahesh Babu’s yet-untitled next project with director Koratala Siva.
It took the celebrated lens man over two decades to finally enter Telugu filmdom and he’s excited about working with Mahesh Babu, as he feels it will be a great opportunity to showcase his prowess behind the celluloid.
“Three years ago, I tweeted that Mahesh was my favourite actor. Now I am working with him. I am very excited and looking forward to the shooting of this film. The combination of Mahesh and Koratala Siva will be technically very rich. Even though I worked for many big films in the past, this film is very special to me as this time; I am working with my favourite actor. I ensure that I will give my best to this film,” he told Deccan Chronicle.
The film was launched earlier this week and it marks the second time collaboration of Siva and Mahesh after the blockbuster, Srimanthudu.
Speaking at the film’s launch, Siva had said that he’s confident that the film will raise the standards of Telugu cinema.
