For the past several months, there have been reports that the official launch of the Koratala Siva directorial with megastar Chiranjeevi will happen soon. However, the event hasn’t taken place until now making one wonder if the project is on.

According to reports surfacing, the project is very much on cards and the official launch will happen next month with the regular shooting to commence in September. Apparently, Chiru is trying to get back to shape after playing the freedom fighter Uyylalawada Narasimha Reddy in Sye Raa. He needs to be fit for his role in Koratala Siva’s film so will be undergoing rigorous fitness regimen before joining the sets, we hear.

With Koratala Siva working on the script, fans should be excited as he will be teaming up with the megastar for the first time. We hear that the script is being written keeping in mind the star’s image. The film will be bankrolled jointly by Ram Charan under his banner Konidela Production Company in association with Niranjan Reddy’s Matinee Entertainment.

Meanwhile, on the progress of Chiru’s Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, we hear that the post-production is currently on. Sye Raa is being bankrolled by Ram Charan Teja under his home banner Konidela Production Company on a budget of Rs 200 crore. It has a bevy of stars from different film industries including Amitabh Bachchan who will be seen making a guest appearance as Gosayi Venkanna. The others in the star cast are Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Tamannaah, Jagapathi Babu, Kiccha Sudeep, Pragya Jaiswal and Brahmaji. R. Rathnavelu is the cameraman for this film, with A Sreekar Prasad editing it and Amit Trivedi wielding the music baton. It is a trilingual that will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.  It is likely to hit the marquee for Dusshera this year.
