Music legend, A R Rahman released a preview video on Facebook for his music score for Pelé: Birth of a Legend’, a biopic on the Brazilian football legend.
The preview gives a sense of what fans in countries where the movie hasn’t released yet can expect from the music director’s latest venture rooted in the Brazilian music culture.
"Doing music for a legend doesn't happen every day. We're talking about Pelé, who's inspired millions of people, not merely sportspeople, but individual human beings by the power of humanity,” he says in the video. The video has already been viewed over 7,00,000 times and liked by over 30,000 users.
The video also features Anna Beatriz, a musician from Brazil who worked with Rahman in the project. “It was an amazing experience just to work with A R (Rahman) and being able to write a song about the people in Brazil,” says Beatriz who hails from Santos, Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The two-time Academy and Grammy award winner was roped in to deliver the music score for the biopic last year. The movie released in the USA on May 6, 2016.
