One person was killed and 20 others injured in a bus accident in Kerala. The accident occurred after the private bus hit a wall and toppled over in Palakkad district.
The incident happened around 10.30 am on Tuesday near Ponnamkode, when the private bus was on its way from Munnekkar to Kalladikode.
Kalladikode police told TNM that the deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Deepu, who was the cleaner of the bus.
“The bus lost control, hit a wall and toppled at Ponnamkode. A total of 20 people were injured in the accident and have been admitted to various hospitals in Mannarkkad and Perinthalmanna,” the police said.
