Laughter," the actor said."I thank you, the theatre staff (at Budweiser Gardens), the event organisers and the London, ON Community for your continued honour and support. I'm far from finished," he said.More than 100 people gathered at the theatre entrances crying "shame" and "rapist".The actor's family and his representatives have rejected the accusations, as did the actress who played his wife on the popular TV comedy, "The Cosby Show", Phylicia Rashad, who said "forget these women" who are after the "destruction of a legacy... a legacy that is so important to the culture".The comedian, 77, during the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s starred in the model television comedy of the era, "The Cosby Show", which set a precedent on the small screen.IANS
