Disgusted with her boss for allegedly giving her Viagra tablets when she complained of severe headache, Bengaluru-based woman lodged a complaint of harassment at Peenya police station on Monday , reported The NewIndian Express.

Twenty-two-year-old Maya (name changed) was working as data processor at the finance and investment firm in Jalahalli area in Bengaluru for over a year.

She realised that they were Viagra pills when she went to a pharmacy with the wrapper of the medicine her boss had given her, reported TNIE.

In her complaint she accused 38-year-old Mallappa, who is a manager at the firm, of harassing her over the past four months.

According to her complaint, Mallappa would pull her dupatta and approach her inappropriately in the absence of other employees. He allegedly sought sexual favour on various occasion, reported TOI.

TNIE quoted Maya saying, “He even offered to financially support my studies and get me a good job, but I refused.”

The newspapers reported that around the time when her father died he reportedly offered to marry Maya although he already had a wife in the United States of America.

When the police asked he why she had not filed a complaint earlier, she said, “I was helpless, I had no option and put up with Mallappa's harassment for months. I knew that no one would believe me if I complained against him since he was the manager. I would be sacked instead.”
