“We have no connection with this. I have been trapped in this case by those in power.”

This is what Rahul Pasupalan,  organizer of Kiss of Love protest and third accused in a sex racket case told the media as he was produced before the Thiruvananthapuram Principal Sessions court. Rahul Pasupalan, his wife Resmi R Nair and 12 other accused were produced before the court on Monday.

Rahul, who was in judicial custody, also told the media that 'the world was not going to end in a day or two' and he had faith in the judiciary. The sessions court has now allowed all the accused to be taken into police custody for questioning. In their submission asking for custody, the crime branch investigating team has told the court that the gang was involved in human trafficking and that their economic status had to be investigated.

Meanwhile, another accused in the case, Joshy Joseph a native of Kozhikode, surrendered before the investigative officer. Joshy is believed to have connections with the racket and played a role in organising the girls.

Another accused Abdul Khader Alias Akbar told the media that he would reveal everything once he comes out on bail.
