Nandamuri Balakrishna is currently busy with the NTR biopic which started to roll early last month. The shooting is underway with the team racing against time to ensure its release for Sankaranthi next year. Reports indicate that Balayya is keen on not missing this deadline as the election code of conduct will be in place a few days after the festival.
With the star busy with his dream project, sources say that his next film is also shaping up. Boyapati Srinivas will be wielding the megaphone for Balayya’s next and the preparatory work has begun already. Apparently, the star, who is a sitting MLA in Andhra, is looking forward to further his political career. Following this, he wants to star in a political satire and Boyapati Srinivas will be helming the project. M Rathnam will be scripting the film and it is expected to go on the floors during the first half of 2019.
Presently, both Balayya and Boyapati are busy with their respective assignments. Boyapati is wielding the megaphone for the Ram Charan Teja directorial which is slated to hit the silver screens early next year. The film has Kiara Advani playing the lead role with Devi Sri Prasad cranking the camera.
On the other hand, Balayya’s next film release will be the NTR biopic as mentioned earlier. The biopic, which is about the life of the legendary actor NTR who eventually went on to become the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, has N Balakrishna playing his dad on the screen. Bollywood star Vidya Balan has been roped in to play NTR’s wife Basavatarakam in it. The star cast also comprises Prakash Raj, Murali Sharma, Rakul Preet Singh and Kaikala Satyanarayana in pivotal roles.
The biopic is bankrolled by N Balakrishna along with Sai Korrapati and Vishnu Induri. The project is helmed by J Krish.
