Director Boyapati is currently busy with the groundwork of Ram Charan Teja’s next film, which is expected to start rolling as soon as the star is done with Rangasthalam.

Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam is slated for a summer release and Boyapati’s film with Ram Charan will go on to the floors after its release, we hear.

Meanwhile, there has been a buzz that the director would direct Nandamuri Balakrishna’s film. Recently, this has been confirmed by Boyapati himself at the pre-release event of Jai Simha.

Jai Simha is getting ready for a Sankranti release on January 12 this year. Incidentally, Boyapati and Balakrishna have teamed up earlier for two films – Simha and Legend.

Both these film were big hits in their careers. With their association for the third time being confirmed, fans can certainly expect a hat trick.

Boyapati’s last release was Jaya Janaki Nayaka, a romantic film, which was a big shift from his trademark action entertainers. The film starred Bellamkonda Srinivas, Rakul Preet Singh and Pragya Jaiswal in the lead roles. Made on a budget of Rs. 42 crore, the film had collected Rs. 68 crore at the box office.

On the other hand, Balakrishna is waiting for the release of the KS Ravi Kumar directorial Jai Simha, which is slated as a Sankranti release. Interestingly, this is the first time he has teamed up with the ‘master entertainer’, which has upped the expectation levels.

Balakrishna is also working on the biopic on his late father and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, NT Rama Rao, lined up as one of his next movies.

This project is expected to take off later this month. To be directed by Teja, the biopic will have Balakrishna playing the legendary NT Rama Rao. Expectations are high on this project as well.
