When dubbing artiste Raveena tweeted her displeasure in not finding the dubbing artistes’ name in the credit list of Ayogya, it opened up a discussion of how the film industry discriminates among its technicians.

Raveena had lent her voice for the female lead Raashi Khanna in Ayogya. Her tweet in this regard was: “I couldn’t find dubbing artists credits in d end title of #ayogya ,was happy to see the mess annas, drivers, painters, carpenters, sound enggs, studios, coordinator n all others getting their respects n credits. Sad to see our category alone left out most of the time. Kaathirupom.”

Soon after this tweet was out, Raashi Khanna responded with an apology which has caught the attention of the film buffs. She wrote, “I am sorry @raveena116 .. but I want to thank you for lending your beautiful voice to me and enhancing my act on screen. Lots of love to you and way to go.”

Directed by Venkat Mohan, Ayogya the Tamil remake of Jr NTR's Temper and has Vishal playing the hero and Raashi Khanna its female lead. In the film, Vishal plays corrupt cop Karnan who turns a new leaf after a rape incident. Vishal's performance was well appreciated by critics and audiences.

Shraddha Das of Guntur Talkies was roped in for a special song in it. With this song, she made her debut in the Tamil film industry. According to reports doing rounds, this special song was the highlight of the film as it was a peppy tune with expressive dance movements.

The film has been produced by B Madhu under his banner Light House Movie Maker. The supporting cast included director KS Ravikumar, Sachu, Vamsi Krishna and Pooja Devariya.

The technical crew of Ayogya comprised of Sam CS for music composition, cinematography and editing by VI Karthik of Thupparivaalan fame and A Sreekar Prasad respectively.

Ayogya was released on May 10 amidst a lot of expectations and is doing well at the theatre.
