The shooting for the upcoming Kannada film Bheema Sena Nala Maharaja was finally wrapped up after a gruelling 13-day long final schedule. According to sources in the know, the entire film team, including Aravinnd Iyer, Aadya, Chitrali, Priyanka Thimmesh, Arohi Narayan and Achyuth Kumar, were present on the last day of the wrap-up.

With the film reaching the post-production phase officially, we can expect the teaser to be out soon. It may be noted here that the film went on the floors on the occasion of Varalakshmi Pooja in August last year and it has taken the team nearly a year to complete it.

Donning the director’s robes for Bheema Sena Nala Maharaja is Karthik Saragur. Since the film revolves around cooking, Aravinnd Iyer, who plays the hero, was sent to be trained to handle a kitchen. The movie is bankrolled jointly by Pushkara Mallikarjunaiah, Rakshit Shetty and Hemanth M Rao under the banners Paramvah Studios, Pushkar Films, and Lost and Found Films. Charan Raj is the music composer of the film and Ravindranath is the man behind the camera.

It may be mentioned here that director Karthik Saragur and producer Pushkara Mallikarjunaiah are teaming up for the second time after their award-winning children’s film Jeerjimbe.

On making the film Bheema Sena Nala Maharaja, the director has been quoted by the New Indian Express as saying, “The entire film is based on six rasas -- sweet, sour, salty, bitter, pungent and astringent, and the six characters represents six rasas. We were lucky to complete the shoot before the monsoon sets in full swing, especially since most of the portions in this schedule had to be shot after sunset to match the mood of the storyline. We all burnt the midnight oil.”

In the film, Aravinnd reportedly an ardent cook while Priyanka Thimmesh will be seen as a simple Christian girl and Aarohi will portray an Iyengar girl.
