The News Minute | November 10, 2014 | 09:16 am IST  Mark David Verghese on Friday was made an offer which seemed to good to turn down- three Apple products, namely an Apple Retina Mac Pro Laptop, an Apple iPad and an Apple iPhone 6, all for just Rs 50,000, states a Bangalore Mirror report. The three products would have cost around Rs 3 lakh at market price. The report also states that the 'package deal' was offered to him by two men in HRBR layout who claimed they were in a hurry to catch a flight and so were making the dirt cheap offer. The men approached Verghese when he was in his car; they showed him the original products and also the invoice of the products.  Verghese gave the two men the money and in return was given a package. However, Verghese was in for a shock when he opened the package at home- it contained two bricks and a stone. It is only then when he realised he was conned. The police, he said, refused to register a complaint, adds Bangalore Mirror.
