After a number of deer deaths, another deer was found dead at the campus of University of Hyderabad on Tuesday. The deer was found behind the boys hostel.

According to the TNIE, the 3-year-old deer was chased and bitten by dogs and it was found dead on Tuesday evening, informed varsity officials.

University's chief security officer TV Rao told TNIE, the menace of dogs troubling the wild animals on the campus was on the rise and needed to be ended. It was chased and bitten by dogs, and it died of shock.

"They stray into places such as the area behind the boys hostel where water is available, and dogs chase them," Forest department officials told INIE.

This is not a first time when a deer was found dead at the campus of Hyderabad University, In January also Gachibowli police recovered around 20 kilos of animal meat, and remains of the head, legs and skin of the deer and also two deers were killed by dogs in the same month.
