The shooting of Agni Siragugal directed by Naveen of Moodar Koodam fame began earlier this year and has reached its final stages now. Reports say that the last schedule of this film is slated to begin in Moscow soon and the team is gearing up to fly there. After this schedule is wrapped up, the post-production will begin full swing and then the release date will be finalised. According to a press release issued by Naveen, the team will be shooting some breathtaking action sequences in the Moscow schedule.
Touted to be an action entertainer, Agni Siragugal will have emotional content as well. The film has Arun Vijay and Vijay Anthony playing the lead roles with Shalini Pandey as the female lead. The others in the star cast include Jagapathi Babu, Nasser and Prakash Raj in important roles.
On Thursday, Arun Vijay took to Twitter to announce that Akshara Haasan was joining the cast of Agni Siragugal and welcomed her. He posted pictures of the cast, which included Akshara, and crew at the airport preparing to fly to Moscow.

The technical crew of this film includes Natarajan Sankaran for composing the music and KA Batcha for the camera work. The film is being bankrolled by T Siva under his banner Amma Creations. It may be noted here that director Naveen made his debut with the 2013 release Moodar Koodam and is working on his next film titled Alaudhinin Arputha Camera.
Akshara made her Tamil debut with Ajith’s Vivegam and was last seen in the Tamil film Kadaram Kondan, which had Vikram in the lead. Directed by Rajesh Selva, Kadaram Kondan was bankrolled by Kamal Haasan under his banner Raaj Kamal Films International. Besides Ghibran for music direction the technical crew included Srinivas R Gutha for cinematography and Praveen KL for editing.
