On Maha Shivaratri, the makers of Mahesh Babu's next film, revealed that the movie will hit the marquee on June 23 2017.
The news about the movie release had all Mahesh Babu fans eager and happy. However, this also means that Mahesh Babu's yet untitled film and Ajith’s Vivegam may clash at the box office.
Reports have it that director Siva is keen on releasing the Ajith starrer on June 22 and the team is working with this deadline in mind.
With director AR Murugadoss also announcing that his untitled film with Mahesh Babu will be out on June 23, it means both the films are headed for a box office clash even though they will be out a day apart.
Trade pundits opine that it may not be a good move by the AR Murugudoss and Mahesh Babu to clash with Ajith as he is known as the 'Emperor of BO'; especially when Mahesh Babu is looking to debut in Kollywood with a direct Tamil film.
Tentatively titled as Shambavamee, – the Mahesh Babu film is a bilingual made in both Tamil as well as Telugu. Rakul Preet Singh is paired opposite Mahesh Babu in the film.
