Now avail of fast 1Gbps ‘Unlimited’ broadband service from Bharti Airtel under its ‘Airtel Xstream Fibre’ offering at Rs 3,999 per month. Within days of Reliance launching its Jio Fiber service, Airtel has responded with its own. The package will include a landline phone on which any number of calls to any network can be made. In addition, the #AirtelThanks pack comprising 3-months free subscription for Netflix, one year’s free subscription to Amazon Prime and access to premium content on ZEE5 and Airtel Xstrem app can all be enjoyed by the customers.  

The service is available starting from Wednesday and the areas/cities being covered initially are Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Noida, Ghaziabad, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Indore, Jaipur and Ahmedabad. Airtel feels this service will benefit homes and small business establishments.

The company says customers with 4K televisions and using IoT products like home speakers etc. will find the ultra-fast broadband connection extremely useful. People engaged in high-speed online gaming will also find the Airtel Xstream Fibre service effective.

Airtel Xstream is positioned as a superior digital entertainment experience by Airtel and claims it is building a world-class digital entertainment ecosystem for the benefit of its customers.

Besides this fast broadband service, the company has also launched a smart stick, like Chromecast or Fire TV and this is an Android based product that can be used with an Android based 4K hybrid smart box. By buying and installing these, the customers can convert their existing TVs to smart TVs, and they will be able to watch OTT content from different service providers apart from satellite TV.  

This single platform is able to offer you multiple choices in entertainment; “Hundreds of satellite TV channels, tens of thousands of movies and shows in English, Hindi and multiple Indian languages, millions of songs, plus access to all the popular OTT entertainment apps,” is how the statement put out by the company describes it. Customers can seamlessly watch these programmes across devices viz. TV, PC and smartphones.
