Ram Charan is busy burning the midnight oil for Dhruva, the Telugu remake of Thani Oruvan, as the project is inching closer to completion.

With just one song left to be shot, the makers have wrapped up rest of the project and the film is gearing up for worldwide release on December 2.

Meanwhile, Charan has given his consent to director Sukumar for his next project and it’s tipped to be a story with a rural backdrop.

It is slated to go on the floors later this month.

Raashi Khanna, who is currently busy with two Tamil projects in her kitty including one with Siddharth, is being considered to be paired with Charan, and if she comes on board, she’ll be joining the big league after working on projects such as Hyper and Bengal Tiger, which turned out to be duds.

“Talks have been initiated with Raashi, and if everything falls in place, she’ll team up with Charan for the first time. Following two back-to-back failures, Raashi has been very choosy about her scripts and she’s keen on mixing it up with commercial as well content-centric films,” a source said.

The film will be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, and the makers are in the process of finalizing the rest of the cast.
