Tollywood's super hit ‘Temper’ which was released in the last year, directed by Puri Jagannadh, starring Jr NTR and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles is all set for a Remake in Tamil
Contrary to reports that Simbu will be reprising Jr NTR’s role in the Tamil remake of Temper, it has now been confirmed that Vishal has bagged the role.
The actor, basking in glory over his Kathakali, received positive reviews in Tollywood, and has inked the deal.
The remake will be produced by Tagore Madhu and popular stunt choreographer, Anal Arasu will be helming the affairs as the director. Sources in the trade opine that Anal Arasu may be the right choice to wield the megaphone as the film is touted to be an action-packed entertainer.
Kajal Agarwal, the lead lady in the original, has been signed up to pair with her Paayum Puli co-star yet again.
Temper, released last month across the globe, has turned out to be a mega hit and there was a scramble for its remake rights. The film was produced by Bandla Ganesh.
Temper is the story of how a corrupt police sub-inspector turns over a new leaf for the sake of his lady love.
With Vishal on the sets of the Mysskin directorial Thupparivalan, the remake is expected to go on the floors later this year.
