Madhaveeyam directed by Thejas Perumanna, who has directed films like Sasinas, Poonilvu, and Mizhi, is gearing up to release soon.
According to reports doing the rounds in the tinsel town, the film’s shooting has been wrapped up and the makers are looking for a suitable release date.
On the storyline of this film, we hear that it is about an artist who gets to meet a girl during a dance event, and eventually she agrees to model for him.
During the course of their artistic work, they fall in love and get married. What ensues next, forms the rest of the story of Madhaveeyam.
Sources in the know say that the film’s shooting was wrapped up in October this year and it is into the post production mode right now.
Vineeth plays the lead role in this film with Pranaya as his leading lady. The rest of the star cast includes Babu Namboodiri, Ambika Mohan, Dr Kochu, Madhu Sreekumar, Suresh Babu, CV Dev, Geetha Vijayan, Kuttyedathi Vilasini, and Dr Kochu S Mani.
While Sudhi has scored the music for this romantic drama, it was V Aravind who had cranked the camera and Kapil Gopalakrishnan as the editor. The film is co-scripted by Thejas Perumanna and Sudhi.
Vineeth’s last release was Khamboji, which was directed by Vinod Mankara. The film was released on March this year.
The actor made his debut with the Malayalam film Idanilangal in 1985 and has acted in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi movies as well.
He has won several prestigious awards as well including the second best actor award - Kerala State Film Critics Association for Daivathinte Vikrithikal and Sargam.
Apart from being an accomplished actor, Vineeth is a Bharatanatyam exponent having performed ins several stage shows in and out of the country.
