Reports suggest that Nani might go on to star in the sequel of Nenu Local.
The film turned out to be a big hit which has raised the chances for its sequel.
On Nani’s birthday recently, producer Dil Raju posted on Twitter a birthday wish along with a hint that his production house may soon produce a film with Nani in the lead. The post read: “Next Enti? – MCA..Shoot starts soon.”
Nenu Local, a romantic comedy, was directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina and produced by Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations.
The film hit the marquee on February 2, 2017. Written by Prasanna Kumar Bezawada, the film had Keerthy Suresh playing the heroine.
Meanwhile, Nani is busy with Ninu Kori, which is being directed by Shiva Nirvana and produced by DVV Danayya under his banner DVV Entertainments.
The film went on to the floors in November last year and the shooting is progressing at a breakneck speed.
Touted to be a July release this year, the team is currently in the US shooting some important sequences. The film also has Adhi in an important role with Nivetha Thomas playing the heroine.
